Each summer Comrie Fortnight group organises a series of activities for all ages ending with a spectacular parade of floats and bands. The whole community becomes invloved and this is a village with a true community spirit.
Full details and calendar of the Comrie Fortnight can be seen at the new Comrie Community Village Website.
The dates for 2013 will be posted soon ...
The final day of the parade features a float parade which passes through the village en route to the Laggan park where an afternoon of fun filled events takes place.

Local people were convinced that 2012's "Fortnight" will ensure that the competing Olympic Games in London will be less succesful than originally hoped as the organising committe for the Olympics did not take account of the dates clashing with the Comrie Fortnight!
